Milan Zoričić was born on January 8th, 1955 in Drniš, Croatia. He spent his whole childhood in Knin, where he completed both primary and secondary school. In 1973 he signed up for a major in Architecture at the University of Zagreb. In 1975 he held his first personal exhibition in Zagreb, where he was reviewed by Professor A. Mohorovičić. He came into contact with great contemporary Croatian artists like Vaništa, Tartaglia and Micheli, among others. In 1988 he became a member of the Croatian Artists Association (HDLU). In 1997 he began his collaboration with the SOTTSASS Studio in Milan. In 2001, Milan Zoričić became one of the members of the group METARATIONALITY, together with Beppe Bonetti and Rudolph Rainer. He held around ten exhibitions with them, organized and placed from USA to China. Since 2000 the majority of his works has been created with the fresco technique in specifically equipped art studios situated both in Knin and Bergamo.
